1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies retrieve information from a browser, for example to maintain a session. Local and session storage keep preferences under different rules. Other processing, including messages and server logs, is explained in Privacy.
2. What House Angle uses
The site uses sessions, CSRF protection, requested preferences and optional Google Analytics. ALTCHA is hosted on our own installation to protect forms, without an additional ALTCHA cookie being configured. Fonts and interface libraries are served from our site. Google Maps loads automatically on Contact.
3. Purposes and activation
Technical: sign-in, forms and requested features. Preferences: your selected theme, planner language, newsletter prompt dismissal or confirmation. Analytics: visits and usage measured by Google Analytics only after acceptance; browser identifiers are not described as anonymous. Map: displaying the location and Google map on Contact, independently of analytics controls.
4. Inventory
The tables list names, providers, purposes, duration and activation. Browser restrictions or manual deletion can shorten storage. A renewable expiry starts again when the service updates it.
5. Providers and data
Merito Media LLC manages the site’s own features. Google supplies analytics and maps; the entity and processing depend on the service and scope described in its policies. See External services and international processing for further information. We do not claim that every provider acts as a processor for all its operations.
6. How to choose
The panel presents Accept analytics and Reject analytics in the same style. It controls one optional purpose: Google Analytics. The policy link also explains the separately loaded map. Silence, scrolling or continuing to read does not accept analytics.
7. Change or withdraw your choice
Use the permanent Analytics cookies button or the button on this page. Rejection disables Analytics and attempts to delete accessible _ga and _ga_* cookies at the site’s domains and root path. If the tag was loaded, the page reloads. Other tabs on the same origin running this manager receive the change. This does not erase past reports, Google Maps cookies or cookies on other domains. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of previous processing based on valid consent.
8. Remembering your choice
Your choice and its date are stored in localStorage without an additional tracking identifier. They are valid for 365 days after acceptance or rejection, without renewal merely by visiting. Loading a page after expiry, a missing date or deletion prompts again and keeps Analytics disabled. Keys may remain until overwritten or deleted. With storage blocked, your choice applies only to the current page.
9. Browser settings
Browser settings let you inspect, block and remove cookies and storage. Deleting technical data may sign you out; removing preferences resets themes, prompts or analytics choices. Browser controls complement the panel. You can restrict the automatic map by blocking third-party content or cookies in your browser.
10. Links and newsletter
Social icons and external links lead to other sites; they are not embedded social posts. Those sites apply their technologies when opened. No dedicated affiliate tracking or conversion tags were identified in the implementation reviewed. Current newsletter templates use attached images and contain no own opening pixel. Subscription and unsubscribe preferences are separate from analytics choices.
11. Domain and languages
This policy covers www.houseangle.com in Spanish, English, French, Italian, German and Portuguese. localStorage is specific to the HTTPS origin and browser: the six language versions share the choice on that origin. It is not synchronized across devices, browsers or other Merito Media publications. The non-www domain redirects to the canonical domain.
12. Updates and contact
The date above identifies this version. Editing this policy does not authorize new purposes or providers. We will review the information and choice mechanism when technologies change. Contact Merito Media LLC through the form for questions or rights requests; see Privacy and the Legal notice.

Technical cookies were checked in the site’s HTTP responses. The Analytics entry describes the configured tag; browser restrictions may prevent cookie storage. Google Maps technologies also depend on your browser and Google sign-in state: no unverified cookie names or durations are assigned to it. No use of IndexedDB, advertising tags or social pixels was identified in the active code reviewed.
